1010 Building Window Restoration

In a joint project with WR Restoration, RC Glass completed a historic overhaul of the Sweatland Building located in downtown Cleveland Ohio. With the coordinated efforts between the two divisions of The Ritenour Group, the historic facade was rehabbed, meeting the Ohio State Preservation Office requirements. These requirements included replacing all 391 windows.

After conducting detailed studies, a combination of Kawneer 9700 NPS historic replacement windows, historic replica wood sash windows and the restoration/upgrade of over 100 existing wood double hung windows were used. With swing stage scaffolding and mast climbers in place, crews of up to 25 craftsmen tackled the complex and historic task and completed the project in 17 months.
